Activista veterana sigue luchando por la libertad

Olga Talamante tenía 11 años de edad cuando sus padres la sacaron de México y llevaron a su familia cruzando la frontera con EE.UU. Cinco décadas después, Talamante paseará en un convertible lowrider rojo durante el desfile Pride este domingo como una de los grandes mariscales seleccionados por el Comité LGBT (Lesbianas/Gay/Bisexual/Transexual) Pride por sus contribuciones a la comunidad LGBT.

Lifelong activist continues freedom struggle

Olga Talamante was 11 years old when her parents plucked her from Mexico and drove their family across the U.S. border. Five decades later, Talamante will be riding in a red lowrider convertible during Sunday’s Pride parade as one of six community grand marshals selected by the San Francisco LGBT Pride Committee for her outstanding contributions to the LGBT community.
