A partir de este número vamos a hablaros de un movimiento que surgió en España el 15 de mayo de 2011 y que se trasladó a EEUU el pasado 17 de septiembre con la ocupación por miles de ciudadanos de la bolsa de Wall Street de New York. El movimiento 15M o de los indignados nació de la pasión e ilusión de miles de españoles por un cambio de mentalidad con el que hacer frente a la crisis económica actual, y ha llegado a más de 150 ciudades alrededor del mundo entre las que se encuentran Bruselas, Londres, San Francisco, México D.F., Buenos Aires o Bogotá.

Beginning with this issue, El Tecolote will profile a movement that arose in Spain on May 15, 2011, and reached the U.S. with the occupation of the Wall Street stock market on Sept. 17. The so-called 15M Movement or “the outraged ones” was born out of the passion and enthusiasm of thousands of Spanish striving for a change of mindset in addressing the current economic crisis. It has reached more than 150 cities around the world, among them: Brussels, London, San Francisco, Mexico City, Buenos Aires or Bogota.
