Sins Invalid announces the first Artists In Residence performance, which emerged out of a nine-month process of mentorship and collaboration between emerging artists with disabilities. Chun-Shan (Sandie) Yi, Colleen Nagle, Edana Contreras, Fayza Bundalli, Matthew Blanchard, Lateef McLeod, Redwolf Painter, and Tee Tagor will present their work in a multimedia performance including music, spoken word, photography, film, performance art and wearable sculpture. Directed by Nomy Lamm, the performance will explore topics of cultural and generational oppression, hospitalization, confronting limitations, embodiment, sexuality and liberation.
