Mezzo soprano Yumi Tomsha gave her New York debut recital in 2008at Bargemusic, the magical ‘floating concert hall.’ As an oratorio soloist,
she has been featured in works including Bach’s St. John Passion and Mass in b minor, and Vivaldi’s third Dixit Dominus and Gloria. Yumi is currently
working on a solo album that will include the premiere of a song cycle featuring poetry by Japanese and Japanese American women.
