The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts held a “Tell your Tattoo Story” video party Aug. 18 to promote “Placas: The Most Dangerous Tattoo,” a Play by Paul S. Flores that will premiere at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre Sept. 6-16.
People arrived from all walks of life—from just above legal tattoo age, to well above it. They were interviewed and filmed by video journalist Josue Rojas along with members of the play. A video of the interviews will be shown during the “Placas” premier as a comparison piece to the play.
