Street vendors worked tirelessly on a chilly but bustling Valentine’s Day, selling flowers, teddy bears and sweet treats in San Francisco’s Mission District.
Portrait artist and R.A.I.C.E.S. fellow Alexa Treviño captured their presence in a series of portraits taken along 24th Street and Mission Street, documenting one of the biggest sales days of the year.
“Remember to support our street vendors and small businesses,” Treviño said. “Community thrives when we uplift each other.”
