The San Francisco Public Library is planning to remove a community mural which graces the sides of its Bernal Heights Branch. The mural, which was the work of the late artist Arch Williams, contains a picture of the Chilean civil rights activist and folksinger Victor Jara, among other depictions. Many members of the community oppose the removal of the mural. Come and celebrate this wonderful mural and sing out for its restoration at a celebratory rally where you’ll be informed by lively speakers and entertained by musical serenades featuring the Rockin’ Solidarity Chorus and Chilean musician Rafael Manriquez • Bernal Heights Branch Library, 500 Cortland St.
