Though it has been in existence for 11 years, El/La Para Trans Latinas, a non-profit organization that advocates for and offers resources to transgender Latinos and Latinas, has only been part of San Francisco’s Pride parade for the last two years. El Tecolote photographer Desiree Rios spent some time with El/La as they prepared for the annual Trans March in Dolores Park (top slider) and the SF Pride parade (bottom slider).
