As the group Mijo de la Palma embarks on their U.S. tour, “Canto E’ Jíbaro,” they find new ways to feed their soul as they try to bring it to those who experience it. They will be presenting their unique fusion of Puerto Rican “jíbaro” music and contemporary acoustic sounds. Their “fusión jíbara” is a creative blend of poetry and musical textures that redefines the sounds of contemporary Puerto Rican music. Featuring: Melvin Lopez Rivera, guitar /main vocals, and Adaliz Ortiz Toro providing harmonies. Plus: surprise guest artists. •
