In conjunction with the Lowriding season, MCCLA is thrilled to present featured artists: Yolanda Lopez, Art Meza, Adolfo Arias, and Fern Balladares whose artwork represent lowrider culture past and present. Join us at the opening reception to meet the artists, hear excerpts of Meza’s Lowriting book, view screening of “Why I Ride” a documentary on 80’s lowrider car scene in San Francisco, walk along the display of lowrider cars parked in front of the center, and listen to oldies by DJ Soulera.
