Celebrating their 35th anniversary, the Mission Cultural Center sponsors a public screen printing workshop. Bring a T-shirt to print your own image inspired by the Mission. We’ll feature cumbia, salsa and Latin beats performed live. And don’t miss the kick-off of Carnaval season with the MCCLA contingent’s first class of the year! All free and open to everyone. Refreshments served all day! Free silkscreen printing (bring a shirt or fabric and print MCC’s version of the “Mission Loteria” on it!). Also featuring Sang Matiz (12:45 p.m.) & Orquesta Adelante (3 p.m.). Plus, MCC’s First Carnaval Class of 2012 (w/ choreographer Neo Garza). All live events broadcast with Chelis Lopez on KPOO 89.5 FM, KIQI 1010 AM, and radiobilingue.org.
