The Bolivian Center of Northern California (BCNC) in celebration of the 185th anniversary of the independence of Bolivia is presenting Bolivian singer PANCARA Iturralde at a gala dinner-dance. Pancara Iturralde is a great vocalist who is making her debut performance in California. She is an artist whose passion for folklore has taken her to explore the essence of her traditional native country through dance & music, & by composing songs that include the Afro-Bolivian cultural heritage. Pancara is not only a published poet & writer of four books, but she is also the founder of “Poesía para Todos”. Her song “El Carnaval del Amor” became the official anthem of the Carnaval in Bolivia, ranking it as number one on the music charts in Bolivia.
