Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay

Has been cut in seven

Seven times smaller

Seven times sadder

Half Moon Bay

is singing

a salty song

The sea and the sky know that song

Half Moon Bay

is seven times lonelier

A wounded community shines and cries

Her sorrow is the sorrow of mountains

Half Moon Bay

is in vigil with candles and flowers in her hands

With questions, with doubts

With half of the heart crying, demanding with anger and sadness

Half Moon Bay

Still the most beautiful half of the moon

She harvests mushrooms

She harvests sunsets, nights and dawns

In Half Moon Bay the sea rumbles

and on the beautiful landscape

a boy and a girl sit on a huge pumpkin

and start to sing
