Latino artists respond to the call of the Occupy Movement. Since its inception last October, Latino Poets, screen printers, popular theater practitioners, musicians and dancers have focused their talents to proudly declare, “Somos (tambien) el 99%!”
These artists have profoundly impacted the education and mobilization of thousands of everyday people participating in actions throughout the U.S. To celebrate their participation, MCCLA hosts a panel discussion of artists moderated by presente.org’s Roberto Lovato.
