GALERIA DE LA RAZA CELEBRATES FOUR DECADES OF COMMUNITY, CULTURE & ACTIVISM
A Retrospective Anniversary Exhibition, documenting Galería’s mission of promoting public awareness and appreciation of Latino/Chicano art. The exhibit spans artworks from 1970 to 2010 and will feature works by artists Yolanda Lopez, José Montoya, John Leaños and Rupert Garcia, & many others; and also features the release of an Anniversary Catalogue, a 200-page collector’s edition that includes essays, interviews and color reproductions that encapsulate Galería’s 40-year history. A Fine Arts Print Portfolio will be launched in October. The portfolio will be available for purchase as a commemorative set or as individual prints.
