The Sandinista Revolution Anniversary
Alejandro Murguia is a writer who committed the ultimate act of internationalist solidarity during the Nicaraguan revolution as a member of a guerrilla brigade of the Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional (FSLN). He described his experiences in his novel, Southern Front – from which he will read, as well as some of his poetry. He speaks about politics, culture, and the legacy of the Sandinista revolution, which marks its 21st anniversary on this day. Presented in collaboration with LaborFest.
