Boricua poet chanteuse, Sandra Garcia Rivera will warm up the stage at the Red Poppy Arthouse with a spotlight solo performance of spoken-word poetry and a cappella song, seasoned with the blues, Caribbean roots music, and Nuyorican soul. Drummer Brian Andres brings his all-star lineup of Latin jazz musicians as they entertain with original compositions as well as classic tunes from Latin America and the United States. Sandra and Brian will also be unveiling a spoken word/drum set collaboration for the first time ever.
