Alberto Roque is a Medical doctor resident in Havana, Cuba. He is an Internal Medicine specialist, professor, and adjunct researcher at the Medical University of Havana. He has been working on transgender health issues and has been an LGBT rights activist/advocate for more than 10 years. In that period, he has actively contributed to depathologization of transgender people’s health care.
