Mazacote is the hard-swinging, old-school salsa group led by percussion legend Louie Romero, the the longtime timbales player for Hector Lavoe. Mazacote plays a high-energy mixture of classic salsa faves and original Latin jazz tunes. Latin Beat magazine called them one of the premier salsa ensembles in Northern California.
