In honor of the great Nicaraguan poet of Ruben Dario, the Mission Cultural Center presents a dance performance “El Güegüense,” and Cultural night by the “Ballet Folklorico Nicaragua Viva,” the group Children of the Corn and singers Carlos del Sol and Carlos Daniel. “El Güegüense”—also known as “Macho Ratón”—is a satirical drama and was the first literary work of post-Columbian Nicaragua.
