San Francisco’s  2013 Poet Laureate Alejandro Murguía, will deliver his inaugural address at S.F.’s Main Library. The poet will speak about the intersecting lives of Latinos and San Francisco’s literary history, and about the poetry’s role in raising awareness about Latin America and Latinos living here and the role that poetry has played in shaping the community’s approach to struggles and resistance. Murguía will also read selected poems he has writen as well as from poems he has translated. •
