Conexiones Institute offers Spanish eco-cultural field trips to Bay Area destinations for San Francisco and East Bay Area preschoolers. Aventuras is an experimental bilingual (Spanish-English), outdoor, educational program for children ages 3-7. Participants will enjoy field trips in their communities and explore ecological and cultural themes related to sustainability, the natural world, art, food and cultural diversity – all while learning Spanish too! This program nurtures a world-view and real-life skills for children, and promotes sustainable globalization for all, which is the mission of Conexiones Institute. Its approach to early childhood education is especially geared for children living in rapidly globalizing communities in times of rapid change.
