It was in those labor camps where Joe\u2019s journey as a photographer began. After moving to San Francisco in the late 60s, Joe went on to document the cultural and solidarity movements that were unfolding in the Mission District in the 70s and 80s, amassing a photographic archive and catalog unlike anyone else. We sat down with Joe ahead of his exhibition, Cultural Renaissance 1970 to Now: Photographs by Joe Ramos.\u201d The show opened on Feb. 23 and will be on display at Acci\u00f3n Latina&#8217;s Juan R.
