Casa Sanchez, a long-time family-owned restaurant with popular tortilla chips and salsa business, has been a San Francisco institution. City officials had already recognized it as a legacy business. The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts was recognized as a Latino historical asset because of the building\u2019s unique architecture and its intangible social and ethnic history in the Mission. To date, there are 11 other historical landmarks in the Mission.
