Over the last 50 years, we\u2019ve collected thousands of stories like Maria\u2019s*. Her story speaks of resiliency, of opportunity \u2014 a tale of gratitude that Mission Housing was ready, willing, and able to grant support when her family needed it the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our mission to create, preserve and stabilize is stronger than ever before. Over the last two years, not only have we persevered through a pandemic, we\u2019ve thrived \u2014 growing our portfolio by building and preserving hundreds of new homes, and stabilizing the lives of over 3,000 people like Maria through our Resident Services programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we turn the page and begin writing a new chapter in our city\u2019s story, it\u2019s important we remain strong, united and resilient. With help from those who love San Francisco over the last five decades, we\u2019ve built more than just buildings \u2014 we\u2019ve built homes. We\u2019ve built communities. We\u2019ve built a legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ask that you join us as we celebrate 50 years of service during \u201cBuilt in the Mission\u201d on October 27, 2022, at La Fenix at 1950 \u2014 the neighborhood\u2019s symbol of rebirth and second chances. Your presence at this event benefits our mission and ongoing work to provide affordable housing and vital services to the people who need it most.
