Climate change has, among other things, made California&#8217;s fire season more extreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Extremely intense fire updrafts have injected vast amounts of smoke &amp; ash into upper atmosphere as high as 50,000 feet&#8211;20,000 above cruising altitude of jet airliners.
