In February a delegation of representatives from U.S. social movements traveled to Brazil to attend the National Congress of the Landless Workers Movement (MST). The Congress was a celebration of the MST\u2019s thirty-years of struggle, and a debate about its future. This event is a report-back by the three Bay Area delegates, with insights into the MST\u2019s structure and strategy. It is being held on April 17, the International Day of Peasant Resistance, the date when 19 MST activists were massacred by state military police in 1996.
