The album was recorded at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley.<\/p>\n<p>Makru\u2019s band members are Ra\u00fal Vargas, vocals, caj\u00f3n and composer; Martina Castro, vocals and palmas; Anthony Jesus Sierra, percussion; Vinicio Pe\u00f1ate, bass; Bob Sanders, guitar; Paul Bertin, saxophone.<\/p>\n<p>The CD-release party will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. at Brick &amp; Mortar, located at 1710 Mission St.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fusing musical styles, blending cultures and sharing diverse experiences\u2014members of the San Francisco-based band Makru have found a true value in making connections.
