They were recently nominated for a Grammy for \u201cBest Regional Mexican Music Album.\u201d They started as young musicians in 1997 at a workshop studying their regional dance, a poetry and music known as Son Jarocho. They have been featured live at the first San Francisco Son Jarocho Festival and in the Hollywood film &#8220;Frida.&#8221; As adults they continue to inspire a younger generation of soneros.
