Galer\u00eda de la Raza\u2019s Lunadas 2012 season kicks off with a stellar performance by Niuyorican poets from New York City\u2019s \u201cBoogie Down Bronx,\u201d featuring Bonafide Rojas, on tour with his second book of poetry \u201cWhen the City Sleeps,\u201d who will share the stage with recent Bay Area transplant Fish Vargas, the founding host and co-curator of the award-winning \u201cAccentos Bronx Poetry Showcase.\u201d This night will continue Lunada\u2019s tradition in being the Bay Area\u2019s only full moon bilingual literary ritual, performance gathering and open mic. Each Lunada features community poets, local legends, visiting mystics, and other mero-meros of the stage. Curated by Sandra Garcia Rivera. Musicians and first timers always welcome \u2022<\/p>\n
