Algunos dicen que lo hizo por envidia, pero eso es un error, es porque \u00e9l conoc\u00eda la naturaleza maligna de [Dios]\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El estilo subversivo de Saramago, hizo que el gobierno portugu\u00e9s y la iglesia Cat\u00f3lica no estuvieran de su lado durante su vida, pero su narraci\u00f3n clara y su apreciaci\u00f3n por la humanidad, lo ponen en compa\u00f1\u00eda de los grandes autores y eventualmente, ganadores del premio Nobel.
