El Encuentro del Canto Popular es un concierto anual que celebra y promueve la nueva canci\u00f3n, la m\u00fasica latinoamericana con un mensaje de justicia social. El Encuentro se inici\u00f3 en 1982 para recaudar fondos para el peri\u00f3dico El Tecolote. Con los a\u00f1os el Encuentro ha llevado a muchos de los compositores m\u00e1s importantes del mundo y los m\u00fasicos de la nueva canci\u00f3n a la bah\u00eda de San Francisco. El Encuentro Anual 30a se llevar\u00e1 a cabo 3 de diciembre.<\/p>\n
