Writer and educator Dr. Oriel María Siu joins us today to chat about her new book titled, “Christopher the Ogre Cologre, It’s Over!“. This book is the second part of a series written by the Central American author that is aimed to help tell the truth of colonization and imperialism in the Americas as well as help future generations feel more represented in children books.
Dr Siu also tells us about her upbringing in Honduras, moving and teaching in LA and Seattle, and returning to Honduras with her daughter to focus on writing.
